Dear parents and carers
It was an absolute privilege to see our school choir join with the choirs of 5 other LEAF schools at St George’s Concert Hall in Bristol yesterday. The children sang beautifully together, around the theme of friendship. Many thanks to Miss Morey and Mrs McNeill for teaching the children the songs as part of their club this year. One of the reasons for establishing the new Trust, is very much around ‘better together’ and last night certainly showed what can be done when we team up!
The summer fair is today – thank you to those who were able to make donations for the tombola, and to those of you who are able to help on stalls or setting up/tidying up. We can’t run this type of event without your help, and we would miss such things if we didn’t have enough helpers. Please get involved, for a short amount of time, or longer, or by making donations, at our next event! A huge thanks must go to the PSFA for their perseverance and determination.
On Thursday 6th July, choir members took part in a concert at St George's music venue along with other LEAF trust schools. They have worked incredibly hard to be performance ready and thanks to their hard work put on a fantastic show. They represented The Tynings amazingly and made everyone who watched proud. Well done, choir.
